In high school Scott worked at his parents’ accounting business and was told by his best friend that one day he would take over the firm. Not wanting his life laid out at age 21, Scott took a job with the United States Government under the Comptroller of the Currency for 5 years in Austin, TX after obtaining his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in 1992. Scott left Austin in 1997 and moved to Little Rock, AR to become an investment analyst at First Commercial Bank of Arkansas (eventually Regions Bank). Well, eventually that high school friend was proven right as Scott purchased the accounting business in 1999 and moved back to metro Jackson. In addition to a broad knowledge of finance and investments, Scott has over 20 years experience in tax preparation, accounting and helping small businesses.

Scott is married to Faith Hill (yes the real one) and has 3 children - Levi, Shiloh and Judah. Scott enjoys time with his family in Brandon and is an active member of Pinelake Church where he serves as a deacon. He has served as chair of the Pinelake Finance Committee and numerous years as treasurer and board member of Northshore Elementary PTO. He is currently serving as Treasurer of his HOA.
